Rare Antique PA. Folk Art Rye Grass Suitcase

For sale is what I believe a quite rare antique Pennsylvania primitive folk art rye grass suitcase similar to the baskets that you find that were made there. I've certainly never seen anything remotely similar to it. I acquired it from a dealer friend in Maryland, and it has wire hinges and 2 wire closures on the front. There are also remnants of a leather strap & metal buckle in the middle between the wire closures. The piece measures about 24" long, 14" wide, and 5 1/2" tall, and is in nice antique condition, with a warm aged patina, as well as the previously mentioned issues with the leather strap.
