For sale is a wonderful small size dated 1799 pictorial sampler with provenance indicating that it was made in Bedminster Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania by a girl named Anna Hackman. (Please read the information in the last picture). The sampler is silk on linen, and has versions of the alphabet, as well as numerous other pictorial images including dogs, birds, and more. It is housed in a newer but appropriate frame, and measures about 12 1/2" x 11 3/4" with sight measurements of 11" x 10 1/4". The sampler is in very nice antique condition, with light toning, but no significant flaws. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
