This early 19th c. signal cannon is constructed from a single unit of mold poured iron with a hollow center and a small touch hole for lighting. These were used to signal on ships from during passage and also land use. Excellent condition with a nice 200 + year old acquired surface. Northeast origin. 5 1/4"T
