Vintage Folk Art Watercolor of Exotic Bird in Cage

For sale is a wonderful vintage, possibly antique, folk art watercolor of a very exotic bird in a fancy birdcage that sits atop an equally fancy pedestal table. The cage has a large bow on the top, and is flanked by silhouette paintings. The painting is signed at the bottom "J. Wallace" and is housed in an old black frame with what looks like used to be a gold inner liner that was painted over at some point. The piece measures about 14 3/4" x 10 1/8" with sight measurements of 12 1/8" x 7 1/2". It is in nice vintage/antique condition, with expected wear on the frame, as well as the previously mentioned paint on the gold inner liner. The painting itself has a few very light spots, but no significant flaws. It should also be noted that the piece has been backed with acid free cardboard, and the paper backing an hanger are new.
