For sale is a wonderful antique mid to late 19th century American folk art pastel drawing of a peace dove holding a laurel branch that I acquired it from a sale in Virginia. It is housed in a handmade folk art frame with the original wavy glass that dates from the late 19th to early 20th century. The framed piece measures about 15" x 13" with sight measurements of 11" x 9". The drawing is in nice but antique condition, with some creases, a couple of small holes, and some minor staining, and the frame is in nice antique condition, with no significant issues. It should be noted that the drawing was removed from the frame for examination and acid free backing was added, so of course, the paper backing and wire hanger are new.
