🕯️Unique antique parade or lawn torch lamp having an interesting cone shape form showing a graduated pointed end. Oil was added in the large opening that holds an old replacement cork. Lamp would have been placed on a pole during use. A series of aged wicks accommodate the top opening. There is a hole located at the bottom of the pointed end that may have aided in providing air for the wick. Inside there are five small holes at the bottom of the font and I am unsure if this was original or a modification. Some surface rust on the side of the filler tube. Top and bottom pieces meet in the center and actually move if you turn them but may not be removable. Good overall condition. This piece would be a great accessory for any early candlestick such as a hog scraper by placing it in the top opening. Measures 7 ¾” tall and measures 3” @ the widest point (middle section).
