For sale is one of 7 vintage folk art chicken/rooster on spool pin cushions that were formerly in the collection of Alice and Art Booth of New Jersey. This one is made of a wonderful old brown print fabric, with embroidered details. I believe it is filled with bits of thread, although I'm not completely sure. The piece measures about 4 3/4" tall, 4 1/2" long beak to tail, and 1 3/4" wide. The spool is about 1 1/2" in diameter. The pin cushion is in nice vintage condition, with a few very light stains, but no significant flaws. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
