For sale is one of 7 vintage folk art chicken/rooster on spool pin cushions that were formerly in the collection of Alice and Art Booth of New Jersey. This one is made of a rather abstract print cotton and has hand embroidered details. It is filled with either emery or sand. The piece measures about 4 3/4" tall, 3 1/2" long beak to tail, and 1 1/4" wide. The spool is about 1" in diameter. The pin cushion is in nice vintage condition, with some toning, minor surface dirt, and light stains, but no significant flaws.
