For sale is a wonderful and fairly large size vintage folk art penny rug in a diamond pattern. It is completely handmade, and the "pennies" are wool the background fabric is cotton or linen, and the backing is denim. It has hand crocheted scallops around the perimeter, and measures about 53" x 22". It is in nice vintage condition, with some fading, and very minor damage to the crocheting, but very nice displayable condition. It should be noted that a previous owner put casing on one edge for hanging. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
