For sale is a wonderful group of 4 antique late 19th to early 19th century homespun textiles that I have collected over the past few years. 2 are bolster covers, and one has embroidery with the year 1814 along with the initials "MfSM" as well as a stylized tree or flowers, as well as crocheted lace on one end. It measures about 36" x 23". The other one has the embroidered intials "EN" or possibly "NJ". Another piece is a table cover that has been made with 2 pieces of homespun connected with lace in the middle as well as part way around the perimeter. On either side of the lace in the middle is the year "1798" along with other lettering that I don't know the significance of. It measures about 80" x 67". I believe the last piece is also a table cover although it kind of has the look of a show towel, but is much larger. It has an embroidered tree with the initials "EV on one side and "GR" on the other along with sort of stylized diamonds. It measures about 64"x40". All pieces are in nice antique condition with light toning and a few light spots, but no really significant flaws. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
