This is a nice old painted Firkin in the original salmon color paint. It has three tight bands around the staved body. It is 9 1/2 in. high with a 9 in. top diameter flaring slightly to a 10 in. bottom diameter. This firkin does not have a cover. It is in good used condition. The staves are tight and there is minimal wood loss at the very bottom.
