Wonderful scrub box (table version) showing delightful red wash paint along with cut nails and screws used to secure the scrub bar on the bottom base. Nice early piece that dates to the first quarter of the 19th century. ♥Old lye Soap and broom corn are also included.♥ Areas of wear along with loss to corners and edges. Expected random chips and wood loss appear on the end of the scrub bar. Slight separation where the bottom panel meets the side along with small dark spots on the inside bottom base. Shows well and makes for a great display. Measures 12 ½” tall, stands 3 ¾” tall including scrub bar, box by itself is 2” tall and measures 8” front to back. More pictures Available.
