Great Horned Owl working Decoy carving made from balsa wood. Factory made at The Herters Manufacturing Waseca, MN ca.1936-1950 with glass eyes and bear claw beak. These were primarily used by farmers for Crow hunting to protect their crops. Normal wear considering use.
