4. Golden Eye Duck Decoy

This working Golden Eye Duck Decoy (not sure exactly which subspecies of Golden Eye it is supposed to be) retains its original paint (a bit scuffed and worn on the back) and original weight and leather rig line hook/loop on the bottom. It weighs a bit over 2 pounds (because of the flat weight attached to the bottom) and measures about 16” from beak to tail, 6 ½” high at the head and 6 ¾” wide. No splits, cracks or breaks. Head slightly turned, and if you’ve handled working decoys, you know what I mean when I say “This one feels right!”
