Early Shaker Milk Keeler
Price: SOLD -- Thank You
Sold by Southfork Farm Antiques
I am selling a very early Shaker milk keeler used by the Pleasant Hill Ky shaker community. It is joined by lapped wooden bands that are attached using rosehead nails and wooden pegs. The keeler is made of pine and is in exellent condition. There is no paint and I am not sure that there ever was any, but it has a really nice patina. There is no damage to the piece and would make a welcomed addition to any Shaker collection. It measures 18 3/4" wide at the opening, 6 1/2" deep, and 18" across the bottom. I will try to answer any questions you might have, and additional pics on request.
