Very rare, 17th to early 18th century, Native American small white ash burl bowl. The best untouched natural surface with great wear from use. Only 4 3/4” diameter x 3” tall. Likely used as an eating bowl that gave it the very dark color and very smooth feel. It has a 3/4” x 3/4” chip out of the rim that looks like it may have been there from when it was made. These early small Native American eating bowls are very seldom found.
