For sale is a wonderful antique 19th century folk art cutlery box that came from New Jersey. It retains its original mauve almost lavender colored paint, and has pierced designs of stars and Maltese crosses, as well as scallops around the perimeter. It measures about 13 1/2" long, 8 1/2" wide, and 7" tall including the handle. It is in nice, but antique condition, with an area of missing scallops which must have happened quite some time ago, paint wear, oxidation around the nails, as well as a stable crack on one of the long sides that doesn't affect the integrity of the box.
