Antique Folk Art Polychrome Painted Bird Carving

For sale is a terrific antique primitive folk art polychrome painted bird carving that I have had for several years. Although the paint has darkened, I believe the main color is light teal blue, the wings are black, as is a ring around the bird's neck. The head was white at one time, at least I think so, the beak is orange, and the eyes are orange and black. In addition, there is white and red/orange on the tail. The legs are metal, and the bird sits on a natural wood slice. The entire piece is about 7" tall, and the bird is about 6" long, 5" tall including the legs, and 1 1/2" wide. The base is about 3 3/4" in diameter and 1 1/2" tall. The carving is in nice, but antique condition, with lots of paint craquelure and darkening, as well as a few white dots, which are gesso.
