For sale is a wonderful antique homespun apron that has chicken scratch embroidery depicting birds and flowers that came from Pennsylvania, and that I'm confident was made there as well. It is machine sewn, and is actually made of 2 pieces of fabric excluding the waist and ties, and you can see a seam down the center. The apron measures about 34" top to bottom, 49" wide at the bottom, the waist is about 18", and the ties are each about 18" long. It is in very nice antique condition, with one area having some brown staining, but no holes, rips, or other flaws.
