19th C. Cutlery Tray in Old Dark Red Paint

For sale is an antique 19th century primitive knife box or cutlery tray that came from a sale in New Hampshire. It has canted sides and partial square nail construction, and the piece is painted dark red, which is old, possibly original, but I can't completely verify that. It measures about 14" long, 9 1/4" wide, and 4 1/2" tall from the handle, and is in nice antique condition, with expected wear and other signs of age, as well as a couple of repairs to cracks on the bottom, but it displays very well.
