For sale is a terrific antique 19th century primitive folk art knife box that came from New York state. It has wonderful form with graceful scallops all the way around, and it retains its original dark red/brown painted surface. In addition, it is completely hand dovetailed. The piece measures about 16" long, 11 3/4" wide, and 6 3/4" tall including the handle, and is in nice antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and use, but no significant flaws.
