This large 7 inch tall by 6 wide double iron grease lamp is much earlier than most. Dating first part of the 1700’s and all hand forged heavy blacksmithing. Note large great pans and hanger bar. Crude forged iron bars for back of lamp. Great American 18th century examples. This is a much earlier than normal grease lamp.
