Antq. Folk Art Truffle Hunting Basket w/Carved Pig

For sale is a charming antique handmade folk art truffle hunting/gathering basket that has a pig carved on one end that I acquired from Connecticut. I have never seen anything like it before, and was immediately drawn to it. I believe that it is made of oak, and has been stained dark brown. In addition, it looks like blades of grass have been carved under the pig's feet, as well as lots of tiny dots that completely surround him. The basket measures about 8 7/8" tall, 11 3/4" long, and 9" wide, and is in nice antique condition, with expected wear on the handle, minor surface dirt, and a small hole that appears to have been drilled in the bottom, perhaps to drain out moisture from the truffles??
