This is one of the nicest and earliest cutting boards I have owned. It was constructed with 2 mortised cleats to prevent the hand planed one pine board from warping. It is probably of Virginia origin. The is a small chip on one corner but no other issues. The cutting board measures 26” x 17” x 29” including handle x 1/2” thick. 18th c. A not too commonly seen breadboard.
