Very nice 18th century, ca.1760-1780, tombstone back and dovetailed American wall box with a dovetailed divided drawer for spices. Measurements: 12 1/2” wide x 12” tall x 8 1/4” deep. Small square nails in bottom of box and drawer. Remains of a green paint on inside of lid and very minor traces around the mitered base suggest it may have been painted at some point. It looks like the original paint was a red wash. Super nice patina.
