Offered for sale is an early primitive tin baby feeder. Historically referred to as a "bubby pot", it was used to feed infants or invalids who had trouble sitting up. The feeder has a cone-shaped body with a tin handle on the side. The feeding tube protrudes from the side, and extends into the feeder to the bottom acting as a straw for sucking the milk or food through. Teeth marks remain in the nipple made of lead. It measures 4 1/4" tall, 1 3/4" across the top, and 3" across the bottom. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Additional pics on request.
