Early oil painting on artist board by Maine artist Roger Deering 1904-1980 Kennebunkport. Titled on reverse “Deering Oaks Portland ME 1936”. He would have been 32 when he painted this at the Park in Portland where they obviously had swans at the time. The Historic Park still remains in downtown Portland. 18” x 24”ss
