Meant to hang inside the birdcage to hold food for your feathered friends, this Prattware Bird Feeding Cup has molded 4 color decoration (looks like a resting child, but I’m not sure). The hand-painted colors (dark green, brown, mustard yellow and tan) are strong and the piece is 3” across the back and 2” high. It dates to the mid-19th century and is in fine to very fine condition with only an underglaze edge chip on the back side. An interesting conversation piece for your cupboard or mantle.
