Dear Dtd. 1887 Folk Art Birthday Gift Pin Cushion

For sale is a very dear antique dated 1887 folk art pin cushion that I acquired in New England. It is made of velvet and cotton/linen, and is embroidered with the words "A Birthday Present By Kate C. Beyer to Ellen K. Beyer, 1887". There are black glass beads in a floral pattern around the edges, and I believe it is filled with cotton. The pin cushion measures about 5" x 4 1/2" x 1", and is in antique condition, with pinholes, fabric wear, and some missing beads, but at least in my opinion, very worthy of collection and display.
