Very rare complete clay pipe bowl and stem found at Jamestown, VA. Measures 4 1/2”. First period pipes are very hard to find. Ca. 1650. No issues. Only the 3rd one of these early pipes I have owned. Reference: "Early American Antique Country Furnishings" by G. Neumann, p. 328.
