Small Antique 1779 Sampler w/Birds, Cat, Dog, Deer

For sale is a wonderful and very early small size silk on what I believe is homespun sampler that I acquired in New Hampshire. It is dated 1779 and has many images including crosses, urns of flowers, a cat, a dog, 2 birds, a deer, and more. The upper case alphabet is at the top, and the name Isabelle is near the bottom, along with other names, initials that I'm not quite sure how to read. The sampler is housed in a gold painted frame that is fairly modern. It measures about 9 1/4" square including the frame with sight measurements of 7" square. It is in nice antique condition with a few small holes that aren't really noticeable and that don't affect any of the embroidery. This piece represents a great opportunity to own a very early sampler in a hard to find small size. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions.
