Early 1900's Folk Art Articulated Dog Toy Whimsy

For sale is a very unique early 1900's to possibly the 1930's folk art articulated dog toy/whimsy that I acquired in Nebraska. The dog's head and tail move when you pull on balls attached to the dog with black thread. In addition, the dog is perched atop ball and cage base, and there are wood burned details on the dog. The piece measures about 10" tall, the dog is about 6" long, 3 3/4" tall, and 1 1/4" wide, and the bottom of the base is about 2 1/2" in diameter. The toy is in nice antique condition, with a warm aged patina, but no damage. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
