19th C. Carved Squirrel Toothpick w/Scrimshaw

For sale is an absolutely charming and I believe fairly rare, antique 19th century folk art carved bone hinged toothpick with a squirrel design that I have had for quite a few years. There is scrimshaw decoration on both sides, one side depicting a bird on a branch and the other side depicting a man and woman's clasped hands. The piece measures about 2 1/2" long not including the blade, which adds an additional 3/4" or so, 3/4" wide, and 1/4" side to side. The piece is in very nice antique condition with signs of age including a tiny chip at the top of the blade that doesn't show at all when displayed.
