This 1930's PANSY QUILT features a favorite flower of the homemaker of that era. Hand appliqued and hand quilted, it features embroidered accents and a scalloped edge with pale blue binding. The batting is thin. Size: 74" x 88". The pansy motif was popular from Victorian times with the flower showing up on painted China and parlor artwork, including Victorian water colors.
