The focus in the shop is on Art Pottery, Textiles, Paintings, Folk Art and unusual smalls. As a collector turned antique dealer, I try to present items that are worthy of my own home...and hopefully, your! My trade policies include the following. I will accept payment in the form of checks (much preferred), credit cards, money orders and PayPal, I will consider a Venmo payment. I will accept layaway plans that are reasonable. I ship all antiques via US Mail with no international sales. Please email me in advance if planning to seek a return/credit for a purchase. I will accept returns with the items returned being in the same condition as received, within 3 day (72 ours) and the buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance. If you are an Ohio resident I will charge Ohio Sales tax at 5.75%. If you are a vendor, your Vendor Resale Number is required. I will consider a layaway plan that is 1/3 down and 2 payments of 1/3 each within 3 months. Mr. Peanut Wood Doll

The Mr. Peanut advertising doll was made by the Schoenhut Toy Company for the Planter's Nut and Chocolate Company. The organization was formed in Wilkes-barre. PA in 1906. The trademark, MR. PEANUT, was adopted for promotion in 1916. The Planter's Nut Company merged with Nabisco in 2004. Mt. Peanut was honored and earned a start on the Madison Avenue WALK OF FAME.

Jiminy Cricket Wood Doll

With the popularity of Disney's American animated classic film, PINOCCHIO, released in 1940, the Ideal Toy Company created an articulated Jiminy Cricket doll, complete with tall hat and umbrella. The Blue Fairy appoints Jiminy to guide the wooden puppet on his journey to becoming a real boy. He is known for singing "When You Wish Upon a Star". This wee cricket measures 7.5" tall and is able to free-stand if positioned right, A doll stand will help to support him. High gloss paint and cheerful face make this a loving icon of our childhood past.

Weller Pottery Biscuit Jar

Weller Pottery produced a line called WOODCRAFT in 1928. As a part of that line, a wonderful biscuit jar was offered that features a small squirrel as the finial on the lid. The example is in good condition with only a slight nick on the ear of the squirrel. The body of the piece has some wording added on the back by what appears to be a pen. Although this may be viewed as a flaw, the rare presence of this piece allows one to overlook any minor surface flaw. Size: 7.5" tall. Beautiful butter-soft glaze.

Tin Folk House

A wonderful three-dimensional house of painted tin features a gable roof and added porches. This house does not appear to be been electrified as with a Christmas house. The bottom is open. There are no moving parts such as doors or windows. The unique material makes for a simple structure that captures the best of folk houses. Size: 14" tall, roughly 12" x 16" square. Painted surface shows nice age which is estimated at circa 1930-1940

Raggedy Ann Doll

This much loved Raggedy Ann Doll features bright blue eyes and not the usual shoe button black eyes. Her dress and apron are perfect. She appears to be one-of-a-kind and not a production doll. Size: 19" tall Clean condition with a great face!

Cotton Quilt

Found in Penna, this quilt features a floral vase design. Perfect for a twin bed, the quilt measures 64" x 78". Age: 1930-1940 There is an early repair in the center of the quilt that is so well done one does not notice the repair. Clean, freshly laundered, and no stains. All cotton.

Green and Cream Coverlet

Two-piece coverlet woven in green and cream, double rows of eight point stars bordering 3 sides, the centerfield with large sunbursts, small floral medallions, and vining florals, the corner blocks each with four leaves. Fibre: wool and linen. Size: 89.5" X 79" Tag sewn to one edge says "64.65 LOAMAN, Provenance: The Dr. Virginia Gunn Collection of Wooster, Ohio. There are a few light stains.

Swan Decoy

The design form of this early Swan Decoy makes it an important asset to anyone's collection. Found in New Hampshire, the swan has a shaped body that is very refined. This is a working bird with early hardware, but no weight. Measurements: 19" high the head, 10" wide at the body, 31" long from breast to tail tip. Age: circa 1940. Surface paint appears original. Art Deco Pillow Vase

Haeger Pottery produced fine pottery for florists and home use. Located in Kane County, Illinois, the pottery ceased production in 2016. This example shows a great Art Deco design image with no chips or cracks. All white adds to the minimalist look. Age: mid-century. Size: 6.5" high and 7" wide.

Blue/White Quilt

With the pattern "Carpenter's Square", this all cotton quilt is a geometric charmer! Made of early indigo blue, the quilt is thin and in excellent condition with no fraying, Several areas on the binding are loose, but there are no tears or stains. Size: 86" x 89" Age: estimated at 1910-1920 based on the age of the indigo fabric. This is a hard-to-find pattern that you will enjoy.

Mennonite Quilt

Mennonite quilt found in Berks County, Pa. The pattern is known as "Wagon Wheels" and features fabrics in early wool challis and cotton. Strong border of red/black makes for a strong visual. Surface wear and early repairs are evident, but the graphic is super strong. Size: 73 x 80 Age: 1890-1910

Country Chippendale Painted Chair

Charming Country Chippendale chair with red paint and reed woven seat that appears to be original. Found in Penna, the measurements are: 39" tall, 19" wide at the seat, 14" deep at the seat. Tip of the top brace is missing, but it was an early damage. The silhouette of the chair is very sculptural.
