The focus in the shop is on Art Pottery, Textiles, Paintings, Folk Art and unusual smalls. As a collector turned antique dealer, I try to present items that are worthy of my own home...and hopefully, your! My trade policies include the following. I will accept payment in the form of checks (much preferred), credit cards, money orders and PayPal, I will consider a Venmo payment. I will accept layaway plans that are reasonable. I ship all antiques via US Mail with no international sales. Please email me in advance if planning to seek a return/credit for a purchase. I will accept returns with the items returned being in the same condition as received, within 3 day (72 ours) and the buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance. If you are an Ohio resident I will charge Ohio Sales tax at 5.75%. If you are a vendor, your Vendor Resale Number is required. I will consider a layaway plan that is 1/3 down and 2 payments of 1/3 each within 3 months. Freshly laundered Blue-White quilt in familiar "Irish Chain" pattern. Fine quilting as seen in the photos. Very clean and size is 82" Square. Perfect to be folded over a bench or at the foot of the bed. Found in Ohio.

An exquisite small painting on board with no signature. Source: French village. The flat graphic design of the roof patterns give this petite piece of art a strength that makes a statement. It was bought unframed and set in a mini-easel, it makes a great table top painting for the library and living area of your home. Size: 7" x 4". Age is probably 1950's. Pleasing color palette.

Twisted Yarn Mat

Twisted Yarn Mat

This twisted yarn mat is a striking piece of art! Measuring roughly 40" x 22", the yarn is single ply and is hooked through a fabric base of ticking material. The work is tight and intact. This construction style is similar to Amish textiles but I would hesitate to credit the source to the Amish community. Age: consistent with the age of the ticking fabric, the age appears to be the 1930-1940's. A great visual for the wall!

Wood Puppet Heads

Wood Puppet Heads

Unpainted wooden puppet heads make an interesting collection when placed together. Found in Italy, each face is a "happy" face with a smile or pensive grin. Each head is mounted on a stone base and dowel. Head comes separate from the base in some cases. Size: Each head is about the size of a small cantaloupe. Age: Second half of the 20th Century. The puppet heads are priced individually and sold individually, or as an add on group.

Yellow Ware sponge decorated pitcher features a twisted handle. Surface color is a pale creamy yellow with blue sponge decoration. Twisted handle indicates possible origins in Tennessee or Kentucky. Size: 14: No chips or cracks

At the turn of the century, tourist items were made by the Iroquois Indians for folks who visited the Great Lakes and Niagara Falls. This example with "Columbus, Oho" misspelled is a unique item in excellent condition. Size: 5" x 5"

Pair of Merganser Decoys by Bob Biddle

Bob Biddle (1937-2025) was born in Northeast Maryland in 1937. He later grew up on the Elk River. Although educated as an aelectrical engineer, he enjoyed swimming, crabby and hunting. He began to make decoys as a young teen and later in life he retired to focus on studio workshops and exhibiting decoys at shows on the East Coast. Recognized by the Harve de Grace Museum, he was a skilled craftsman of Windsor chairs. This pair is a beautiful addition to one's decoy collection. Sold as a pair only.

Geranium Painting

Geranium Painting

Artist Norbert Greka (1930-2020) Born in Cleveland and raised in Alpena, Michigan, Grela was a professional server in the fine dining industry of Detroit. He is a graduate of the Traphagen School of Fashion in NYC and also studied in Paris. The Traphagen School of Design held classes from 1923 to 1991, and the focus was the American Design Movement. Graduates from the school include Geoffrey Beene, James Galanos, Anne Klein and Mary McFadden. Greka retired in 1993 and moved to Pelican Bay, Florida. After his death, his artwork was auctioned by the Estero Historical Society.

Weller Pottery of Zanesville, OH issued a line of pottery known as "Eocean" circa 1906. This piece measures 11 inches tall and is an excellent example of the pattern. There is an L-shaped scratch on the reverse.

Mr. Peanut Wood Doll

Mr. Peanut Wood Doll

The Mr. Peanut advertising doll was made by the Schoenhut Toy Company for the Planter's Nut and Chocolate Company. The organization was formed in Wilkes-barre. PA in 1906. The trademark, MR. PEANUT, was adopted for promotion in 1916. The Planter's Nut Company merged with Nabisco in 2004. Mt. Peanut was honored and earned a start on the Madison Avenue WALK OF FAME.
