Just a wonderful Pilgrim period, 17th early 18th century, treen charger. Measures 17 1/4” - 16 1/2” x 2 1/4” deep. Pole lathe turned walnut. American or English. Great patina and use wear with no cracks or hairlines. It has a well worn shallow 1 1/2” flat chip on top of rim. Shallow foot and wonderfully turned rings on underside. There are 4 marks on bottom from fastening to lathe for turning. Hard to find without cracks or damage. This charger really makes a statement displayed!
