This is coming out of our own collection and it couldn’t be much better for an example of a southern Va. basket. 1870’s with a tight weave and original thick green paint. Well worn dry surface with no breaks or damage. Measures 6 by 5 1/2 wide by 4 high on handle. Just a perfect hard to find example.
