Dear Antique Cat on Rug Pincushion Whimsy

Price: 325 including shipping and insurance

Sold by Albion Valley Folk Art and Antiques

For sale is a very dear antique folk art black cat on a braided rug pin cushion or whimsy, possibly even a dollhouse accessory, that has been in my collection for several years. The cat is made from a cotton knit sock, has tiny nail eyes, a thread ribbon around his neck, and is stuffed with cotton. The cat measures about 2 3/4" tall, and the rug is about 5" x 3 1/2". The piece is in nice antique condition, with minor signs of age including a small hole on the cat's right side just below the neck, but no really significant issues. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
