Price: 695 including shipping and insurance

Sold by Albion Valley Folk Art and Antiques

For sale is a wonderful and fairly rare pair of antique folk art pen wipes that depict a begging dog and a cat that have been in my collection for a few years. Each animal has black glass bead eyes, the dog has stitched nose and mouth, and the cat has thin thread whiskers. The cat also has remnants of hand drawn stripes, both are sitting on felt and velvet leaves with decorative stitched details, and there are silk ribbons on the back. Each animal is about 3" tall and the leaves on the bottom are about 5 1/4" x 4 3/4". Both are in nice, but antique condition, with minor surface dirt, toning, a few stains, and a tiny hole on the dog. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
