19th C. Wool Huswif Ex Pat Hatch

For sale is a wonderful antique 19th century huswif that was formerly in the collection of Pat Hatch, and that I have had for a couple of years. It is made of striped wool and 4 layers of wool felt, and has one pocket for storing thread or other small items. The backing is black fabric with a slight sheen, although I don't know for sure what it is. The huswif measures about 7 3/4" long and 3 3/4" wide, and is in very nice antique condition, not appearing to have had much use, although there is a bit of wear on the back.
