For sale is a very sweet antique ca. 1830's-40's framed folk art painted velvet paper doll that I acquired in Nashville. The little girl is holding a basket of flowers and standing on a green floral print "carpet" that I believe would enable the doll to stand. The piece is mounted on antique paper and housed in a gilt frame with a metal loop hanger. The framed piece measures about 7 1/4" x 5" with sight measurements of 6" x 3 3/4". The doll itself is about 4 1/4" tall. The piece is in nice antique condition, with minor signs of age, as well as expected minor wear on the frame, but no significant issues. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
